From 20–24 July 2026, the 30th Session of the FAO Committee on Agriculture (COAG) convened at FAO headquarters in Rome, Italy, bringing together global leaders to chart a path toward more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems.
A Critical Moment for Global Agriculture
In the face of global crises affecting agriculture and food security, delegates reaffirmed their collective commitment to sustainable, resilient, and inclusive agri-food systems. The discussions focused on advancing better production, better nutrition, a better environment, and a better life—through the transformation to MORE efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agrifood systems, leaving no one behind.
