The AGRA Value4Her initiative and CGIAR (the Alliance of Bioversity International and CIAT & the International Livestock Research Institute (ILRI)) have partnered to launch the Small Grants Program on Climate Adaptation & Financing for Women-Led SMEs. This program invites women-led agribusinesses across sub-Saharan Africa to apply for grant support, technical assistance, and capacity strengthening to document and scale their climate adaptation practices.
About the Program
This initiative is designed to recognize, support, and amplify the vital role that women-led agribusinesses play in building climate resilience across sub-Saharan Africa. Selected businesses will benefit from:
- 💰 Grant Support: Financial assistance to help scale climate-smart practices
- 👩🏫 Technical Assistance: Expert guidance on climate adaptation strategies
- 📈 Capacity Strengthening: Training and resources to enhance business resilience and documentation of climate actions
Who Should Apply
This program is specifically for:
- Women-led agribusinesses (businesses owned and/or led by women)
- Operating across sub-Saharan Africa
- Contributing to climate resilience in the agricultural sector
